The name of this winery comes from a time when the aborigines called the island of Lanzarote Titerok-Akaet, which means "red mountain"/"the one that burns", alluding to Timanfaya Park.  This particular wine, Ye-Yé, takes its name from the 2-hectare Yé-Lajares estate, where the grapes were harvested on volcanic soils.

The grapes used to create this white wine are Malvasía.  They were harvested by hand at the end of July.  The wine has been aged for 11 months in stainless steel tanks.
