Maisulan Txabola Viura is a special variety of white wine made from grapes sourced from almost all of Eva and Luis' vineyards. The vines, which are over 45 years old, grow in a soil rich in clay and limestone.

In the Rioja region Viura is traditionally planted in the poorest parts of the vineyards due to its ability to resist water stress.

Eva and Luis carefully harvest the grapes by hand from all of their vineyards. After entering the winery, the grapes are pressed directly and the juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks for a few days using the indigenous yeasts. The remaining fermentation takes place in oak barrels of 225L and 500L, where the wine matures for six months and ferments with its own yeast. 20% of the barrels are new, adding a unique touch to the wine.

Here's a taste of what you can expect from this wine:

  • Aromas: Txabola Viura boasts citrus, quince, honey, and almond aromas that will tantalize your senses.
  • Palate: The palate offers a refreshing burst of lemon and lime flavours. This is a well-rounded, voluminous, and intense white wine. It is perfectly balanced with a long-lasting finish.
  • Serving Temperature: 10ºC - 12ºC
  • Pairing: This wine pairs well with seafood dishes such as lobster and langoustines, poultry, and various cured and soft cheeses.

Enjoy it before 2029 to fully experience its flavours.
